Loudoun Castle Theme Park

Loudoun Castle Theme Park is one of Scotlands best days out, set in the picturesque area of Loudoun which is steeped in scottish history. Loudoun boasts a large range of rides suitable for all the family and the fun doesn't stop there. Loudoun hosts a number of shows throughout the day including a water stunt show as well as a farm area where you can learn about the animals.

Burns Heritage

2009 marks the 250th anniversary of Burns's birth and Alloway will play host to the launch of the ‘Year of Homecoming' during the weekend of 24th and 25th January. A range of other celebratory events will be held throughout the year.
Under the new ownership of the National Trust for Scotland, 2009 also marks the start of a major redevelopment of Burns National Heritage Park . This will involve the redevelopment of the whole site and the building of a new museum – Robert Burns Birthplace Museum – to house the most important Burns collection in the world.
